Kriya Meditation - Yoga

Kriya meditation is a form of yoga which helps those who suffer from low back pain. Meditation is the practices of helping your mind find peacefulness. To achieve this, you must practice daily and believe that you can achieve the peacefulness you are looking for. It’s not enough to practice; you must also believe it will come to you. There are no quick fixes, no short cuts. You must be able to meditate your way to a peaceful mind and you will become a better person for doing so.



Kriya meditation is a great opportunity to become aware of your soul, to reach a higher state of consciousness and to overall change your life. The Kriya meditation emphasizes the relationship between breathing and the mind. It is believed that the breathing influences the mind and that the mind influences the breathing. Breathing control is self control, breathing is self mastery.


Mastering your breathing so that you can concentrate on you mind is the key to Kriya meditation. You must be ever so mindful of your breathing in the Kriya meditation. You must find a comfortable, quiet place to begin your practicing and concentrate on your breathing. Make it as slow as possible without hurting yourself. This will take time and practice. When you have mastered your breathing, you are ready to master your mind. You can concentrate on the present but not the past, you should meditate on one thing at a time, try not to allow your mind to wonder, but if it does, bring it back and don’t be to hard on yourself.
