Transcendental Meditation Practice
Maharishi Mahesh Yogi was the first to teach Transcendental meditation approximately 50 years ago. It is basically a relaxation technique for the mind and can be learned easily. It does not matter your religion or political preference, it is simply a way to relaxation.
Transcendental meditation has you practicing twice a day for approximately 10 to 20 minutes each time. The person doing the meditation sits comfortable, no need to sit in the lotus position where bones begin to hurt, sitting on a chair or a cushion or anything that is comfortable is preferred here.
There are no special skills to learn, no lifestyle changes to implement, just a natural meditation that will help you with everything in your life for the better.
Transcendental meditation will allow you to penetrate the simple relaxation techniques and go into a deep relaxation where you will feel more spiritual clarity, more creativity and find you are able to manage your stress levels on a far better level, especially in life situations that are difficult. You will also experience far better health then you have ever in the past.
During the practice of Transcendental meditation, your mind and body will settle down to experience a unique state of restful alertness. As your mind becomes quieter the body becomes more restful and falls into a deep relaxed state.
Patients with asthma showed improved lung capacity, reduced high blood pressure, decreased insomnia and reduced overall illness in chronically ill patients were found when people practiced the art of Transcendental meditation.
